Whispers in the Stacks
July 2024 Edition

Kathryn Cress
Interim Director

Happy July!

Summer Reading is off to a great start! During the month of July, we will continue adult and children’s programming. We are enjoying sharing fun animal facts, reading stories about animals, and creating exciting crafts with the children. The children receive prizes weekly as they read and fill out their reading logs. The Cheravian Club and the Chesterfield Service Club will give away two bikes at the end of July to our top readers! Adults are encouraged to read a book and enter our weekly drawing or play Black Out Bingo! It is not too late to join the fun this summer at the library!

We are excited to share the activities that are happening around the county at our Chesterfield County Library branches this month. Please stop by and participate in one of our activities, browse through our new books, use one of our computers, check out a DVD or visit our new Bookmobile!

We hope to see you soon!
